The myth of Captalism

Im going to make it quick, because my battery is going to die, plus im sitting at a talbe with a couple of brits, aussies and I dont know what more. And it is not very polite to keep writing.

Anyways, in todays money driven society we are brought to believe that if you can afford it, you can buy it. And that it theere is a world of products just sitting there, waiting for you.

However, you cannot buy what you want. If you have a very good idea of how you want your product to look like, color, size, materialwaise, you are probably going to be very frustrated. There is only a limited offer in the market, mostly dictated by some kind of momentary trend, that publicity does a very good job conviencing you that those are the ones you need.

More than one time to many have I set out determined to buy and came back empty handed. If you have enough personality to want to choose on your own, captalism is not there for you.

If it is not there for those who wish to consciously spend, so the ultimate question is, who is it there for?

Definitely not for the over exploited workes in Asia, that are responsible for a enormous amount of contemporary goods. Definitely not for the war stricken communities in Africa. And even less for the peolpe in Haiti.

I'll leave the question out there, in search for an anwser.
